At last: the perfect home page :-)
Actually, of course, the page is not perfect. User tests in several different countries have all shown the same problem: people have difficulties interacting with hyperlinks on imagemaps because there is no indication about what is clickable and because they don't get "breadcrumbs" on the links they have already seen (in text-based links, the underline turns from blue to purple when a link anchor points to a page the user has already visited). The Java version of the home page addresses the first of these problems by highlighting clickable areas when the user moves the cursor over them. We currently don't have a solution to the lack of breadcrumbs in imagemaps though they should be fairly easy to implement in Java.
