Marieke McCloskey, a User Experience Specialist with Nielsen Norman Group, draws on her extensive experience researching human behavior to help organizations improve the usability of their applications, websites, and intranets.
She focuses on providing clients insightful recommendations at every stage of the design process, through field studies, user research, competitive analysis, prototype design and evaluation, and one-on-one user testing. Her strategy workshops help organizations understand their users and leverage this audience analysis to build a competitive user experience. She has consulted with clients in a wide range of industries, including e-commerce, health care, finance, education, and non-profit.
Since joining NN/g, McCloskey has continued to research human behavior by conducting desktop, mobile, and tablet usability research studies, including eyetracking user research, on non-client websites and intranets in the United States, Europe, and Asia.
She has also served as a judge of the New Zealand WriteMark Plain English Awards.
